Iguazu Natural Ceiling Light by Good & Mojo

Iguazu S Natural Ceiling Light by Good & Mojo

Geographical Inspiration and Eco-Responsible Design

The Iguazu ceiling light draws its inspiration from the majestic Iguazu Falls, on the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.

These spectacular waterfalls have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984, symbolising the power and natural beauty of our planet.

This light fitting captures the essence of this exceptional natural site, bringing a touch of grandeur and serenity to your interior.

Elegant Design and Versatility

Iguazu S Natural Ceiling Light by Good & Mojo

Made from natural jute, this light fitting stands out for its disc-shaped design, hand-woven by skilled artisans in South-East Asia.

Jute fibre, long, soft and lustrous, is obtained from the bark of the jute plant, mainly produced in India and Bangladesh.

This natural material gives the ceiling light an organic texture and a unique look, allowing it to diffuse a soft, pleasant light.

With a diameter of 40 cm and a height of 17 cm, this ceiling light is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens and other spaces that call for a touch of natural elegance.

A Commitment to Sustainability

Every purchase of a ceiling light from the Good & Mojo collection contributes to reforestation initiatives and the distribution of solar lamps to disadvantaged communities, underlining Good & Mojo's commitment to sustainability and humanitarian aid.

Bring the majesty of the Iguazu Falls into your home with the Iguazu S Natural ceiling light and support environmental and social initiatives with every purchase.

How a Be Shine light is made

A beautiful shape is not enough: the material still has to accept it. Before approving a design, we go through it with the workshops that will make it. Here is how one of our pieces came to life.

L'équipe Be Shine passe en revue les tendances déco du moment
01

The style

It all starts with a trend. We follow what circulates on Pinterest, Instagram and interior blogs, and we spot the styles on the rise. Here it was the natural look: plant fibres, wide shapes, warm tones. We also look at where the piece will live, and this one needs height or width: above a large table, in a stairwell, under a cathedral ceiling.

02

Choosing the material

03

What can actually be made

This is where many fine ideas stop. Before going further, we ask the workshop what the material really allows: at that span, will rattan hold? The answer comes down to one simple step, soaking. The strands go into water until they turn supple, they can then be bent without breaking, and they set as they dry. Once feasibility is confirmed, we move on to the drawing.

04

The drawing and the prototype

A flared, very open shape, almost a hat, with rods spaced far enough apart for the light to pass between them. The proportions are drawn and redrawn: too flat and the shade dazzles, too deep and it traps the light. A real piece is then assembled and switched on, and we look at the radiating pattern it casts on the ceiling.

In your home

Once the design is approved, the workshop starts the production run. The pieces reach the warehouse, where order pickers wrap them one by one before dispatch, ready to dress a new home.
