Bhutan S Black Floor Lamp by Good & Mojo

Bhutan S Black floor lampGeographical Inspiration and Eco-Responsible Design

The "Bamboo S Black" floor lamp by Good & Mojo is inspired by the natural beauty and rich culture of Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom nestled in the Himalayas.

This light reflects Bhutan's commitment to environmental preservation and the wellbeing of its people, bringing these values into an elegant, sustainable design.

Elegant, Refined Design

Bhutan S Black floor lampThis bamboo floor lamp is finely hand-woven by skilled artisans in South-East Asia.

It consists of two stacked cylinders: the first in natural bamboo, and the second in natural and black bamboo, finely woven with subtle patterns.

This mix of colours creates an attractive, sophisticated visual contrast.

The wide, solid black wooden base ensures optimal stability and adds a modern touch to this traditional design.

The organic, exotic design of this light showcases ancestral skills and local craftsmanship, bringing a touch of nature and elegance to your home.

Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, studies or reading areas, it creates a warm, welcoming ambience.

The lamp is fitted with a foot switch, practical and easy to reach, on a 200 cm black fabric cable.

This light is not only beautiful but also functional, offering comfortable, intuitive use.

Commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact

Every purchase of the "Bamboo S Black" floor lamp supports reforestation initiatives and contributes to the distribution of solar lamps to communities in need.

By choosing this light, you help preserve ancestral skills and provide sustainable jobs for local artisans in regions where employment opportunities are limited.

This commitment reflects Good & Mojo's mission to promote sustainability, mutual support and the economic development of disadvantaged communities.

Add a touch of modern sophistication and natural elegance to your home with the "Bamboo S Black" floor lamp by Good & Mojo.

Support environmental and social initiatives with every purchase, while bringing a warm, welcoming ambience to your space.

How a Be Shine light is made

A beautiful shape is not enough: the material still has to accept it. Before approving a design, we go through it with the workshops that will make it. Here is how one of our pieces came to life.

L'équipe Be Shine passe en revue les tendances déco du moment
01

The style

It all starts with a trend. We follow what circulates on Pinterest, Instagram and interior blogs, and we spot the styles on the rise. Here it was the natural look: plant fibres, wide shapes, warm tones. We also look at where the piece will live, and this one needs height or width: above a large table, in a stairwell, under a cathedral ceiling.

02

Choosing the material

03

What can actually be made

This is where many fine ideas stop. Before going further, we ask the workshop what the material really allows: at that span, will rattan hold? The answer comes down to one simple step, soaking. The strands go into water until they turn supple, they can then be bent without breaking, and they set as they dry. Once feasibility is confirmed, we move on to the drawing.

04

The drawing and the prototype

A flared, very open shape, almost a hat, with rods spaced far enough apart for the light to pass between them. The proportions are drawn and redrawn: too flat and the shade dazzles, too deep and it traps the light. A real piece is then assembled and switched on, and we look at the radiating pattern it casts on the ceiling.

In your home

Once the design is approved, the workshop starts the production run. The pieces reach the warehouse, where order pickers wrap them one by one before dispatch, ready to dress a new home.
